The opportunity
The Tenant Concierge is the visible, trusted first point of contact for residents, visitors and contractors at a professionally managed residential development in Sidcup. This is a hands-on customer service role for someone who combines warmth and patience with excellent judgement, reliable administration and pride in the presentation of their building.
Key responsibilities
- Welcome residents, visitors and contractors and provide a professional, approachable front-of-house service.
- Receive, record and respond to resident enquiries, resolving straightforward requests and escalating property, maintenance or safeguarding matters appropriately.
- Manage visitor, contractor, key, access-card and parcel processes in accordance with site procedures.
- Maintain accurate daily logs, incident records and shift handovers so that open actions are visible and followed through.
- Carry out routine visual checks of reception and communal areas and report cleaning, maintenance, safety or presentation issues promptly.
- Support move-ins, move-outs, deliveries and contractor appointments, including access arrangements and resident communications.
- Handle initial complaints with empathy and professionalism, gathering the relevant facts and escalating when necessary.
- Follow emergency, fire, security, lone-working and data-protection procedures at all times.
- Keep reception, noticeboards and resident information organised, accurate and presentable.
- Work closely with the Property Manager, maintenance and cleaning teams to provide a joined-up resident service.

- Requests, incidents, parcels, keys and handovers are recorded accurately with no avoidable gaps.
- Building presentation and operational issues are noticed early and routed to the right person.
- Difficult interactions are handled calmly, fairly and within clear role boundaries.
About you
Essential
- A calm, courteous and confident manner with people from a wide range of backgrounds.
- Excellent reliability, punctuality and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritise, keep accurate records and use email, digital logs and basic office systems.
- Sound judgement when dealing with complaints, incidents and confidential information.
- Ability to work the agreed rota and remain professional during busy or challenging periods.
- Right to work in the UK.
Desirable
- Previous concierge, reception, resident services or front-of-house experience.
- Experience with access-control, parcel or property-management systems.
- Emergency first aid, fire awareness or conflict-management training.

- Salary of GBP 26,500-31,000, depending on relevant experience.
