Are you an organised, proactive professional with a passion for education and international environments? We are seeking an Office Coordinator to join our friendly and dynamic EFL (English as a Foreign Language) centre in Bournemouth.
About the Role
As the Office Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of the centre's administrative and student services operations. You will oversee front-office activities, support staff, and deliver an exceptional experience for our international students.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate day-to-day administrative operations of the centre office
- Supervise and support office staff, ensuring high performance and efficiency
- Act as a point of contact for student and agent enquiries
- Manage student enrolments, records and databases accurately
- Liaise with academic staff to ensure smooth communication and scheduling
- Handle bookings, invoicing, and general financial administration
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and accreditation requirements

- Undergo an enhanced DBS check
- Provide suitable references
- Demonstrate an understanding of safeguarding practices in an educational setting
About you
- Proven experience in a senior administrative or office coordination role
- Excellent organisational and multi-tasking skills
- Strong leadership and team supervision experience
- Outstanding communication skills (written and spoken English essential)
- Experience in the EFL, education, or international student sector (highly desirable)
- Confident using CLASS student management system and Microsoft Office
- Customer-focused with a friendly and professional approach
- Ability to work independently and under pressure
