Red Recruitment are currently working with a Redditch based client to recruit a Manufacturing Supervisor on a Temporary basis.
Details:
- 12 week temp-to-perm basis
- Hourly rate of £15.50 per hour
- Rotating shift pattern of 06:00-14:00/ 14:00-22:00 Monday to Friday
- Occasional Night shift holiday cover needed
- Bonus scheme of up to £5200 annually
Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliant with all Health & Safety
- Supervise and organise members of the team ensuring productivity at all times
- Diagnosing breakdown problems and faults
- Quality checking
- Repairing equipment
- Fitting new parts and ensuing equipment is working correctly
- Monitor inventory of materials and equipment
- Maximising production efficiencies
- Fill out any required paperwork currently and ensure this is passed to the relevant person
- Supervise and train members of the team
Experience and Skills:
- An ability to work well under pressure
- Excellent planning and leadership abilities
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment
- Proven experience as a supervisor (minimum 3 years, including disciplinary) / people leading
- Experience working to set quality standards
- Basic maintenance experience
- Not afraid to get hands on
- Relevant technical knowledge
- Fork lift experience but not essential
