General Sales Assistant – Islamic Boutique (East London)
We are looking for friendly, reliable, and motivated sisters to join our team as General Sales Assistants in our busy Islamic boutique store based in Whitechapel, East London. We are hiring for full-time, part-time, and contract roles. We welcome all applications from across London, however, preference will be given to candidates based in East London, especially Whitechapel.
Our store offers a warm, family-like Islamic environment rooted in strong morals and values. The role involves customer service, sales support, stock management, and general shop duties. The store can be fast-paced, especially during Ramadan, which is our busiest period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing excellent customer service in line with Islamic values
- Assisting with sales, product enquiries, and till operations
- Stock replenishment, organisation, and general store upkeep
- Supporting the team during busy periods and special promotions
- Ensuring health and safety standards are followed
Requirements:
- Retail or sales experience is beneficial but not essential (training provided)
- Fast learner with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Able to work well in a busy environment
- Reliable, punctual, and a good team player
- Comfortable working in an Islamic environment
