CMB Foods has been supplying the finest quality meat to schools, hospitals, universities and corporate kitchens across the southeast since1982. Family-run, BRC AA-accredited and proud of it — we're now growing fast and looking for Production Operatives to join our team at our East Grinstead production site.
No two days are the same. You'll be part of a skilled, close-knit team preparing, packing and dispatching the products that keep our customers coming back.
What you'll be doing
- Preparing, cutting and packing meat products accurately to order specification
- Operating production machinery (full training provided)
- Making sausages, burgers, kofta, and meatballs— real craft skills
- Weighing, labelling and packing finished products for dispatch
- Carrying out cleaning routines at the start, end and in between production runs
- Reporting any quality, food safety or process concerns to your supervisor
- Keeping your area clean, organised and compliant at all times
What we're looking for
- A reliable, hardworking attitude — you show up and you give it your best
- Good attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures accurately
- Basic numeracy — you'll be working with weights and quantities
- An understanding of food hygiene basics (or a willingness to learn quickly)
- Good communication — you'll flag issues rather than ignore them
- Previous food production experience is helpful but not essential — we'll train the right person
