As AVP Sales, Bioprocessing EMEA for Ecolab Bioprocessing, you will develop the strategy to expand market share of Purolite resins in the EMEA region, and evaluate and optimize sales models across the markets to ensure alignment with customer segmentations. Highly accomplished in regional sales leadership with a passion for fast-moving and growing businesses, you will build and develop a high performing sales team in the region, and collaborate with various functions in the organization to drive achievement of sales objectives.
What You Will Do:
Assume direct responsibility of Sales and financial objectives related to sales in EMEA region.
Deliver outsized business growth and market share increase.
Lead the team to prospect and hunt for new opportunities, often with new customers (never called on before).
Evaluate and understand the value proposition for each customer segment.
Formulate growth strategies for the EMEA region.
Create and implement sales and marketing initiatives to achieve short-term and mid- to long-term financial targets.
Develop new, innovative ideas that will stretch the organization and push the boundaries within the industry.
Create realistic goals and implementation plans that are achievable and successful.
Organize and coordinate all business activities in the region, leverage the breadth and depth of the company’s products and solutions portfolio to create a total value proposition to customers.
Develop and solidify executive relationship with C-suite at key customers and strategic partners.
Collaborate extensively within the organization and outside with the customers.
Ensure regular reporting, feedback mechanism and CRM usage.
Build a high performing sales organization; hire, develop and retain top talent.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Biology or Chemistry, or related field
5 years experience in commercial roles in Life Sciences in the EMEA region
Experience in Bioprocessing, Downstream Bioprocessing Chromatography, Analytical chromatography experience would be preferred.
In-depth knowledge of the Customers, and relationships with Key Customers, in the field of Bioprocessing and/or Downstream Bioprocessing Chromatography
Experience selling within the life sciences setting in the field of Biopharma Downstream Bioprocessing

MS and/or MBA
