We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Carer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, a caring nature, and the ability to support residents with their daily needs. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our residents by delivering high-quality care.
Duties
- Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility assistance.
- Support residents in engaging with daily activities and social interactions to promote well-being.
- Follow individualized care plans developed in collaboration with healthcare professionals to ensure tailored support.
- Maintain accurate records of care provided, including any changes in residents’ conditions or needs.
- Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and team members to ensure appropriate care delivery.
- Assist with light household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation to support residents’ comfort.
Experience
- Previous experience working in a care home setting is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Strong communication skills in English are essential for effective interaction with residents and team members.
- Basic IT skills for maintaining accurate documentation and updating care records.
- Ability to follow detailed care plans and adapt approaches based on individual resident needs.
- A caring attitude combined with patience, empathy, and excellent interpersonal skills.
