At Willow Tree Children’s Services, we’re looking for dedicated Children’s Practitioners to join our growing team and help create a safe, supportive, and nurturing home for children and young people aged 7–17 with learning disabilities and additional needs.

The Role
As a Children’s Practitioner, no two days are the same. You will play an important role in helping children feel safe, valued, and supported in a family-style environment.
You will:
- Build strong, trusting relationships with children and young people
- Support emotional wellbeing and encourage daily challenges
- Help children develop independence and life skills
- Support education and learning goals
- Plan activities and community experiences
- Deliver fun, meaningful key work sessions
- Use positive behaviour support approaches
- Support children with routines, communication, and personal care where required
- Work alongside schools, families, and professionals
- Create a safe, welcoming, and nurturing home environment
- Be a positive role model every day
Whether it's helping a young person achieve a personal milestone, supporting a day out, teaching life skills, or simply being a consistent adult they can trust, your impact will matter.
Qualifications
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or working towards this) desirable
- Willingness to complete training and development
- Full UK Driving Licence desirable (or working towards)

Pay: £27,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
