Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards across various environments, including commercial, hospitality, and residential settings. Previous experience in janitorial work, hotel cleaning, or commercial cleaning is advantageous. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, surfaces, windows, and fixtures
- Ensure all cleaning tasks meet health and safety standards
- Restock supplies such as toiletries, paper products, and cleaning materials as needed
- Operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in accordance with company policies
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Assist with specialised cleaning tasks such as carpet shampooing or deep cleaning when required
Qualifications
- Previous experience in janitorial work, hotel housekeeping, or commercial cleaning is preferred but not essential
- Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals and equipment
- Self-employed
- Must be fully flexible in terms of shift times
- Essential and non negotiable-Must have own cleaning equipment
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good communication skills and a positive attitude
- Flexibility to adapt to different shifts or additional duties as needed
- Nice-to-have skills include cooking or customer service experience which can enhance overall service delivery
- Must be available to travel across London for various shifts
