The Principal Development Engineer will determine and represent the views of the highway authority in respect of development: notably through the assessment of planning applications and undertake critical appraisal of transport assessments and travel plans as presented with strategic planning applications to ensure that national and Councill policies and standards are implemented.
The applicant must have a good understanding of Planning and Development Control processes.
