We are seeking a reliable and professional Delivery Driver to join our team. Duties
- Safely operate medium size van to deliver goods across designated routes
- Load and unload items, ensuring they are secured properly during transit
- Plan delivery routes efficiently to meet scheduled deadlines
- Verify delivery details
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections and report any issues promptly
- Uphold safety standards and adhere to traffic regulations at all times
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any questions or concerns professionally during deliveries
Requirements
- Proven experience as a delivery driver, preferably with commercial driving experience
- Valid driving licence suitable for operating flatbed vehicles and commercial lorries
- Strong knowledge of local roads and routes within the area
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage time effectively
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good physical fitness to handle loading, unloading, and manoeuvring goods
- A clean driving record and the ability to pass background checks and driving assessments
