Housing Team Leader
Belfast | Full-time | Temp -> Permanent | £30,496 per annum + 4% pension

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Housing Team Leader to join a specialist charity in Belfast.
This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who can combine strong leadership skills with a genuine commitment to supporting young people. You’ll lead and support a team of Support Workers while helping to ensure a safe, high-quality supported housing service for young people leaving care and those experiencing homelessness.
What you'll be doing
- Lead, motivate and develop a team of Support Workers.
- Help ensure young people receive high-quality, person-centred support.
- Promote best practice, safeguarding and positive outcomes.
- Work alongside the Housing Manager to develop and improve the service.
- Support staff through supervision, training and reflective practice.
- Build effective relationships with young people, colleagues and external agencies.
- Help ensure the service meets relevant quality, regulatory and contractual standards.
What we're looking for
You'll need:
- At least 3 years' experience working with young people in supported housing or a similar environment; or a Degree in Social Work; Degree in Youth and Community Work plus 2 years' experience.
- Experience and ability to manage and develop a team.
- An understanding of the needs of young people leaving care and/or those with high support needs.
- Excellent communication, leadership and organisational skills.
- A resilient, compassionate and flexible approach.
- A full current driving licence, access to a car and business-use insurance.
- Registration with NISCC.

- 36 days' annual leave, increasing with service up to 41 days
