Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and energetic Bar Team Member to join our vibrant hospitality team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, preparing and serving beverages, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Duties
- Greet customers warmly and take their orders efficiently
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with company standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including washing glassware and cleaning surfaces
- Check identification to verify legal drinking age and ensure responsible service
- Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation during shifts
- Assist in setting up and closing down the bar at the beginning and end of each shift
- Provide excellent customer service, addressing any queries or concerns promptly
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently to maintain a safe environment for staff and customers
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a bar or hospitality environment is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable manner
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy periods
- Basic knowledge of drink recipes and cocktail preparation is desirable
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as required
- A responsible attitude towards alcohol service and customer safety
