Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Cleaner/Domestic Assistant to join our team and help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of cleaning tasks across different settings, ensuring high standards of hygiene and cleanliness are consistently met. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will contribute significantly to the comfort and safety of our facilities, whether in commercial, healthcare, or other professional environments.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of designated areas, including floors, windows, furniture, restrooms, and common spaces using appropriate cleaning equipment and products
- Maintain high standards of hygiene by disinfecting surfaces and waste disposal in accordance with health and safety guidelines
- Restock supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet roll to ensure facilities are well-equipped at all times
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures to ensure all areas are cleaned efficiently and effectively
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards promptly to management for swift resolution
- Adhere to health and safety regulations during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or contamination
- Support additional tasks such as laundry or light housekeeping duties as required in specific settings like healthcare or hospitality environments
Experience
- Prior experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles is highly desirable
- Experience working in healthcare environments, such as hospitals or clinics, is a strong advantage
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment and chemicals
- Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols accurately
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
