A message from Daniel, Company Director
My name is Daniel, and I am one of the Company Directors and Co-Founders. The organisation was created from my own lived experience of growing up in care.
I know first-hand how important it is for young people to have safe, stable and nurturing homes, with adults around them who genuinely care, remain committed and do not give up when things become difficult.
We are looking for a Registered Manager who understands the responsibility that comes with leading children’s homes, developing staff teams and creating the right culture for young people who may have experienced trauma, instability and rejection. Our standards are exceptionally high because the children we care for deserve nothing less.
This role is for someone who will lead from the front, remain hands-on and combine compassion with clear accountability. As we continue to grow, we will invest in and properly reward those who help us build safe, stable and high-performing homes without losing sight of why the organisation exists.
The opportunity
This role carries responsibility for care quality, compliance, staffing, budget control and the overall performance of two homes. You will have the authority and support required to lead effectively, together with clear expectations and measurable objectives.
We are seeking a manager who can combine child-centred practice with sound operational judgement. Stable teams, appropriate staffing, strong occupancy and disciplined financial management create the consistency children need and allow the homes to remain sustainable over the long term.
You will be expected to combine:
- High-quality, child-centred care and safeguarding practice
- Strong regulatory leadership and inspection readiness
- Commercial awareness and effective budget management
- Stable occupancy and carefully managed placements
- Effective workforce planning, supervision and staff retention

What you will be responsible for
- Leading the day-to-day operation of two solo residential children’s homes.
- Holding or obtaining dual Ofsted registration for the responsible homes.
- Ensuring each child receives safe, consistent and individualised care.
- Maintaining compliance with the Children’s Homes Regulations and Quality Standards.
- Leading safeguarding practice, risk management and professional decision-making.
- Recruiting, developing and retaining a high-performing staff team.
- Managing the Deputy Home Manager, Senior Residential Support Workers and Residential Support Workers.
- Maintaining appropriate staffing levels while controlling agency use, overtime and unnecessary expenditure.
- Taking ownership of budgets, expenditure and the commercial performance of the homes.
- Maintaining placement stability and constructive relationships with commissioners, social workers and other professionals.
- Ensuring care plans, risk assessments, records and monitoring systems remain accurate and inspection-ready.
- Driving continuous improvement and strong Ofsted outcomes.
- Participating in the management on-call rota, including weekends and bank holidays.
- Supporting the continued growth and development of the organisation.
Your KPI opportunity
You will have the opportunity to earn an annual discretionary KPI bonus of up to £20,000. The bonus is linked to clear evidence of a safe, stable, compliant and commercially strong service.
Performance measures will include:
- Ofsted inspection outcomes
- Occupancy and placement stability
- Staff supervision compliance
- Staff sickness management
- Quality, safeguarding and regulatory standards
- Director standards inspections
Your wider benefits package
In addition to salary and KPI earnings, the proposed employee and management benefits package has an indicative first-year value of approximately £9,500+, before special recognition awards or company car scheme value.

- Free meals and activities on qualifying shifts
- Guaranteed birthday day off
- £500 following successful registration of a first home and a further £500 following successful registration of a second home
- Attendance and Reliability Bonus of up to £1,500 per year, subject to eligibility
