Responsibilities
- Operate laundry machines and equipment safely and efficiently to handle large volumes of linens and garments
- Sort, load, and unload laundry items according to type, color, and cleaning requirements
- Inspect items for stains, damages, or irregularities and notify supervisors as needed
- Fold, press, and package clean linens for distribution throughout the facility
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area to ensure a safe working environment
- Follow all safety protocols and proper handling procedures for chemicals used in cleaning processes
- Keep accurate records of laundry cycles, inventory levels, and maintenance needs
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel or hospitality laundry services is preferred but not required
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy loads, and perform repetitive tasks with energy and precision
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality control
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Willingness to follow safety guidelines and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly
- Flexibility to work various shifts including mornings, evenings, or weekends as needed
Pay: From £12.90 per hour
