We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Qualified Dental Nurse to join our Vitality Bute team. This part-time, permanent role is crucial to ensuring the smooth running of our dental services and providing excellent patient care. As a key member of our team, you will support dentists and contribute directly to the positive experiences of our patients.
- Prepare and maintain clinical areas and equipment in accordance with infection control and health and safety regulations.
- Assist the dentist during treatments, ensuring patients are comfortable and well-informed throughout their appointments.
- Manage patient records accurately, including updating medical histories and treatment notes.
- Support patients by providing oral health advice and guidance tailored to their needs.
- Ensure all instruments are sterilised and ready for use, maintaining the highest standards of hygiene.
- Collaborate with the wider dental and healthcare team to deliver seamless patient care.
- Adhere to all regulatory requirements and company policies.
- Current registration with the General Dental Council (GDC) as a qualified dental nurse.
- Previous experience in a dental nursing role within a healthcare or dental setting.
- Additional qualification in Dental Nursing (Ideally, Sedation or Implant qualification).
- Strong understanding of infection control procedures and health & safety standards.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable manner.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Willingness to undertake continuous professional development.
