We are looking for an experienced SEO Account Manager to take ownership of client strategy, delivery and performance.
This is not a junior execution role. We want someone commercially minded who can manage projects and communicate confidently with clients.
The Role
You will:
- Manage a portfolio of SEO clients
- Working with the SEO Director to help lead strategy from research and analysis through to implementation
- Deliver clear monthly reporting and performance insights
- Present updates and strategic direction to clients
- Work closely with PPC, web development and content teams
- Ensure projects run smoothly and deadlines are met
Required Experience & Skills: SEO Expertise
- Strong understanding of Technical SEO
- On-page optimisation and content strategy
- Link building and backlink analysis
- Confident running technical audits and prioritising actions
- Excellent understanding of GA4, Google Search Console and rank tracking tools
Strategy & Commercial Awareness
- Able to align SEO activity with the client's business goals
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn data into insight
- Comfortable owning strategy and making recommendations
- Detail-oriented with high standards
Client Management
- Confident in presenting to clients
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Experience leading calls and handling client queries
Agency Experience
- Previous experience working within a digital agency
- Comfortable collaborating with PPC, content and development teams
- Strong time management and ability to handle multiple projects
Bonus (Not Essential)
- Knowledge of AI SEO / Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO)
- Understanding of how AI is impacting search behaviour
