The Role
As a Loan Administrator and Personal Assistant, you will be a direct assistant to the Manager of our Rotherham office, while also completing various types of loan administration. Your role will involve providing high-level personal assistance to the Manager as well as managing the administration of outstanding case requirements to ensure cases progress smoothly through to completion. You will act as a key point of contact between clients, lenders, and other parties.
This is an office-based role only at our new Rotherham Town Centre location.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct Personal Assistant support to the Rotherham Office Manager (diary management, correspondence, reporting, and general office support)
- Complete administration of outstanding loan case requirements end-to-end
- Call lenders to chase offers, conditions, redemption statements, consents (including 2nd charge where applicable) and update/amend details
- Book and coordinate valuations with surveyors
- Make payments and process financial/administrative tasks as required
- Liaise with solicitors and other parties to help expedite the legal process
- Prepare and issue case documentation and updates
- Maintain accurate client records and case notes on CRM/systems
- Track progress, chase outstanding items, and provide regular updates to the manager, advisers, and clients
- General office administration support (post, filing/archiving, stationery, and other duties as required)
About You
- Previous experience in mortgage/loans/property administration or case management is desirable but not essential — this role can suit a trainee and full training will be provided
- Confident telephone manner and strong written communication skills
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and time management
- Strong IT skills including Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook (CRM experience beneficial)
- Proactive, dependable and able to work independently as well as part of a team
