Job Title: Sessional Casual Support Worker
About the Role
We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and motivated Sessional Support Workers to join our team on a casual basis. This is a flexible role with no guaranteed hours, ideal for individuals who are looking to work around other commitments while making a positive difference in the lives of the people we support.
As a Sessional Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support that promotes independence, choice, dignity, and inclusion. Shifts will be offered based on service needs and your availability.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, person-centred support tailored to individual needs.
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal care where required.
- Support individuals to access their local community, attend appointments, and participate in social and recreational activities.
- Encourage independence, confidence, and personal development.
- Administer or support with medication where trained and authorised.
- Maintain accurate records and complete required documentation.
- Follow safeguarding, health and safety, and organisational policies and procedures.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues, families, and other professionals to achieve positive outcomes.

Desirable:

- Relevant qualifications (e.g. Health and Social Care NVQ/QCF or equivalent) preferred.
- Experience supporting individuals with learning disabilities, autism, mental health needs, physical disabilities, or complex needs.

Important Information
This is a sessional (casual) position with no guaranteed minimum hours. Work will be offered according to service demand and your availability. Acceptance of shifts is voluntary, and flexibility is appreciated.
