The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Fitter & Assembler to join a busy manufacturing environment based in Aylesbury. This role is ideal for someone with a strong mechanical background who takes pride in precision assembly and high-quality workmanship.
This is a late shift position, offering an attractive 15% shift premium in addition to base salary.

Carry out fitting and assembly of components to a high standard.

Read and interpret engineering drawings, including Third Angle Projection drawings.

Follow technical instructions from engineers, supervisors, and team leaders.

Ensure all work meets strict quality and specification requirements.

Carry out in-process and final quality checks.

Operate machinery and production equipment safely when required.

Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.

Comply fully with Health & Safety procedures at all times.

Support continuous improvement activities across the production area.

Assist in other production duties as required.

Minimum 2 years' experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.

Strong background in mechanical fitting or assembly.

Ability to confidently read engineering drawings (including Third Angle Projection).

High attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritise workload.
