We're looking for a hands-on Working Supervisor with a strong carpentry background to join our Building Fabric Maintenance team. This opportunity would also suit an experienced Maintenance Carpenter or Senior Building Fabric Technician who is ready to take the next step in their career and enjoys leading by example whilst remaining practical and hands-on.

The Role
Working across Bristol and the surrounding area, you'll deliver planned and reactive building fabric maintenance across a varied portfolio of multi-tenanted office buildings, retail parks, managed residential developments and commercial properties.
This is a genuine working supervisor role. You'll spend the majority of your time on the tools, carrying out high-quality repairs whilst helping to coordinate day-to-day works, supporting colleagues and ensuring our high standards are maintained.
Typical work includes carpentry repairs, maintenance of doors, locks, hinges, door closers, ironmongery and general building fabric repairs. You'll also use a tablet to complete job reports, photographs and communicate with our office team, ensuring clients continue to receive the professional service we're known for.
What We're Looking For
You'll ideally have:
- City & Guilds Level 2 in Carpentry (or equivalent)
- Proven experience within Building Fabric Maintenance or the Facilities Management sector
- Experience working within commercial properties
- Strong carpentry and general building fabric maintenance skills
- A good understanding of planned and reactive maintenance
- A full UK driving licence
- Good communication and customer service skills
- Confidence using tablets to complete reports, photographs and emails
