SolarCentric Ltd is a growing renewable energy company specialising in Solar PV, Battery Storage, EV Charging and Renewable Energy Solutions. Due to continued expansion, we are looking to recruit an experienced and organised Administrator to join our team.
About the Role
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring projects and office administration run smoothly. This is a varied position that would suit someone with previous experience in the construction, renewable energy, M&E, or building services sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- General office administration and document management
- Supporting project managers and engineers with project documentation
- Managing customer enquiries and communications
- Preparing quotations, reports and project paperwork
- Maintaining electronic filing systems and databases
- Coordinating appointments, meetings and schedules
- Liaising with clients, suppliers and subcontractors
- Assisting with compliance and certification records
- Supporting the accounts function, including:
- Processing purchase invoices
- Raising sales invoices
- Reconciling supplier statements
- General bookkeeping assistance
Essential Requirements
- Previous administration experience
- Excellent organisational and communication skills
- Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Professional and customer-focused approach
Desirable Requirements
- Experience within the construction, M&E, building services or renewable energy sectors
- Knowledge of project administration processes
- Experience using accounting software (e.g. Xero, Sage, QuickBooks or similar)
- Understanding of accounts payable and receivable procedures
- Experience dealing with subcontractors and suppliers
