Factory Cleaner
Location: Iford Cider
Reports to: Production Manager
We’re looking for someone to take ownership of keeping the Iford site clean, tidy and looking as it should.
This is a hands-on cleaning role covering the factory, taphouse and general site. The main focus is non-food-contact areas — the production team remains responsible for cleaning and sanitising anything that comes into contact with product.
The Role
- Keep factory floors, walls, drains and general areas clean.
- Clean the outside of tanks, machinery and production equipment.
- Keep the taphouse clean and presentable.
- Clean toilets, staff areas and communal spaces.
- Keep entrances, external areas and waste areas tidy.
- Empty bins and manage general cleaning waste.
- Carry out regular deeper cleans around the site.
- Keep cleaning equipment and chemicals organised.
- Spot things that need doing and get on with them.
- Flag any maintenance, hygiene or safety issues to the team.
What We're Looking For
Someone reliable, practical and with a good eye for detail. You’ll need to be happy working independently, getting stuck in and taking pride in keeping the site looking great.
Experience in factory, food production or hospitality cleaning would be useful, but isn’t essential.
You’ll be trained on our site procedures, chemical use, COSHH and health & safety.
In simple terms: we want someone who takes ownership of keeping Iford clean, tidy and a good place to work and visit.
