Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
- Take accurate food and beverage orders, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff and baristas
- Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining presentation standards and cleanliness
- Assist guests with menu selections, upselling specials or additional items to enhance their experience
- Maintain a clean and organized dining area, including tables, service stations, and workspaces
- Follow food safety protocols and proper handling procedures to ensure guest safety
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours and handle guest inquiries professionally
Skills
- Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant service, with a strong focus on guest satisfaction
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling techniques
- Ability to perform food preparation tasks as needed, including setting up stations or assisting in basic kitchen duties
- Strong basic math skills for handling bills, payments, and change accurately
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with kitchen operations or culinary experience is a plus for better coordination with kitchen staff
- Exceptional guest services skills, including active listening, patience, and positive communication
- Ability to upsell menu items confidently to increase sales and enhance the guest experience
