We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our small team on a part-time basis. As a Dental Nurse, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting the dentist/therapist during procedures, sterilizing instruments, responding to patient enquiries, making appointments and ensuring the comfort of our patients throughout their visit.
Perhaps you have had enough of corporate dentistry where you are promised the earth or shipped between clinics. Our little clinic is well run, civilised and we have a growing list of lovely patients. ```Responsibilities```
- Assist the dentist/therapist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all instruments are sterilized and ready for use
- Answer patient queries on the phone or by email, make appointments and take payments
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist/therapist during procedures
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques
- Ensure the comfort of patients throughout their visit
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
```Qualifications```
- Valid Dental Nurse certification or license
- Proven experience working as a Dental Nurse
- Excellent knowledge of dental instruments and procedures
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills
