Children’s Home Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced individual to join us as a Operations Manager to support our residential children’s homes. As our Operations Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining high standards of care, and ensuring regulatory compliance,
This is a full time permanent position, 40 hours per week. This role will require you to travel between homes and to be flexibility with the hours you work.

Our aim is to transform the lives of children and young people who have experienced complex trauma and abuse. All staff are professionally qualified or working towards a qualification in therapeutic skills, to enable them to support children and young people’s practical, physical, and emotional needs.
Key Responsibilities & Duties
To support with the oversight of the day to day operations of home’s
To work with less experienced managers and colleagues and support their development.
To manage and support a diverse team of colleagues, delivering on our mission to create a great place to work
To promote the service with internal and external stakeholders
To oversee the care planning and risk management strategies in place for children
To liaise with education and the MDT to ensure each child receives the very best experience
To produce timely and accurate information in relation to agreed KPI’s
To advise the Regional Manager and recommend areas for improvements to support quality in service delivery
To contribute to wider, organisational projects from time to time
Experience
Minimum 3 years as a Registered Manager
Minimum 1 year as a RI
Demonstrable Good / Outstanding Ofsted track record
