Sales Assistant – Indian Fashion & Bridal Boutique

We are looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and experienced Sales Assistant to join our well-established Indian fashion and bridal boutique in Manchester.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional customer service to every customer.
- Assist customers in choosing sarees, lehengas, suits, menswear and accessories.
- Build strong relationships with customers and provide styling advice.
- Maintain high visual merchandising standards and keep the store well presented.
- Process sales and assist with general day-to-day store duties.
- Support the team during busy periods and bridal appointments.
Essential Requirements
- Previous retail sales experience (fashion retail preferred).
- Good knowledge of Indian/Asian clothing, fabrics and styles.
- Fluent English and the ability to speak at least one Asian language (such as Hindi, Urdu, Punjabi or Gujarati).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Confident, reliable and able to work as part of a team.
- Well presented with a positive attitude.
Desirable Skills
- Experience taking customer measurements for clothing and alterations.
- Knowledge of bridal wear and occasion wear.
- Experience using a till/EPOS system.
- Social media or online sales experience is an advantage.
