Working closely with another Receptionist / Office Assistant, you will be part of a collaborative team responsible for maintaining two offices located just a 5-minute walk apart. Together, you will ensure both spaces are well stocked, well maintained, clean, and running efficiently, creating a welcoming and productive environment for employees and visitors.
Key Responsibilities
- Be the welcoming face of our London office, delivering an exceptional front-of-house experience for employees, visitors and guests.
- Manage meeting rooms, refreshments and hospitality, ensuring every meeting space is prepared to a high standard.
- Support new starters by preparing workstations, arranging access passes and helping create a seamless onboarding experience.
- Keep the office running smoothly by managing supplies, maintaining communal areas and coordinating day-to-day office operations.
- Assist with organising office events, ensuring spaces, materials and refreshments are set up and ready to go.
- Proactively identify and resolve facilities or maintenance issues, helping maintain a safe, tidy and professional workplace.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an outstanding workplace experience while supporting a variety of administrative and operational tasks.
Skills & Experience
- Previous experience in reception, office coordination, workplace experience, hospitality or a similar customer-facing role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proactive and self-motivated, taking ownership of tasks and using initiative to solve problems.
- Confident using Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new systems and processes.
- Flexible, reliable and hands-on, with a positive, service-focused approach and a willingness to support across all aspects of office operations.
Desirable
- First Aid training certified (not essential).
