Project Manager – Coventry - Freelance to Permanent Opportunity

We are currently recruiting for a Project Manager to lead the delivery of a 290-unit traditional build, mixed-tenure housing development in Coventry. This role is offered on a freelance-to-permanent basis, making it an excellent opportunity for someone seeking both immediate work and long-term career progression.
The Role
As Project Manager, you will take full responsibility for the successful delivery of the development, ensuring it is completed safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Working alongside a strong commercial and technical team, you'll oversee the project from construction through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day delivery of a 290-unit traditional build residential development.
- Lead and motivate the site management team.
- Ensure the project is delivered safely, on time and within budget.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site logistics.
- Monitor programme performance and implement solutions where required.
- Maintain exceptional health & safety and quality standards.
- Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and stakeholders.
- Drive NHBC standards and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the build.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Project Manager delivering large residential developments.
- Strong knowledge of traditional build housing projects.
- Experience managing multiple site teams and subcontractors.
- Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
- SMSTS, CSCS and First Aid certification.
- Full UK driving licence.
