You deliver on the following duties and responsibilities:
- Creates Happier Ageing experiences and client focused care in home and community settings
- Delivers on our Brand Promise by owning the client’s experience, ensuring that you do whatever it takes to bring peace of mind to our clients and their families
- Resides in the client's home to provide consistent companionship, security, and a supportive environment
- Assists clients with activities of daily living: healthy meal preparation, personal care, light housekeeping, errands, companionship, transportation, etc. as detailed in the client’s care plan
- Meets safety standards, using equipment safely and accurately
- Provides premium care approach to clients and their family members
- Responds to Care Services Center (CSC) Team regarding scheduling enquiries and updates within the agreed upon timeline
- Continually reviews the care plan, completing daily records accurately and carrying out all assignments as requested
- Engages in open communication with your Care Designer when opportunities to elevate your client’s experience and care are identified
- Updates availability and holiday requests (as per stated expectations) with HR to ensure continuity of care for your client
Availability:
- Flexibility is required for live-in placements
- Full time
Business Relationships:
- Reports to the Care Designer
- Works closely with the Care Designers, Field Care Supervisors and Clients
Key Metrics:
- Attendance & Reliability
- AMS - Attendance Monitoring System
- NPS; Client Score of 10
Live-In Carer Requirements:
- Ability to live in a client’s home for consecutive weeks at a time, respecting their privacy and property
- Strong cooking skills with the ability to plan and prepare fresh, nutritious meals
- Two positive professional references
- Background or Criminal Record Check with a Vulnerable Sector Search (declaration submitted annually and DBS updated every 3 years for continued employment)
- Agreement to complete training annually and as needed
- Ability to travel independently to live-in placements (a valid driving licence and access to a vehicle is highly desirable for running client errands)
- Communication skills, both written and verbal are essential
Pay: £750.00-£800.00 per week
