Overview
Wonderful Care Services Ltd is a CQC-rated Good care provider delivering Supported Living and Domiciliary Care services across Peterborough and the surrounding areas. Due to our continued growth, we are looking for an organised, motivated, and compassionate Care Coordinator to join our office team.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about delivering outstanding care and ensuring our service users receive safe, person-centred support.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and manage staff rotas to ensure safe and effective service delivery.
- Allocate care staff to service users based on their needs, skills, and preferences.
- Respond promptly to staff absences and arrange suitable cover.
- Liaise with service users, families, healthcare professionals, and commissioners.
- Support the onboarding of new care packages and transitions.
- Ensure care records, electronic systems, and documentation are accurate and up to date.
- Monitor staff compliance, training, DBS renewals, and mandatory documentation.
- Assist with incident reporting, safeguarding concerns, and quality assurance processes.
- Provide administrative support to the Registered Manager and senior management team.
- Participate in the on-call rota when required.
Essential Requirements
- Experience working within Health and Social Care.
- Experience coordinating care services or scheduling staff.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage competing priorities.
- Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Right to work in the UK.
Desirable
- Experience within Supported Living or Domiciliary Care.
- Knowledge of CQC Fundamental Standards.
- Experience using digital care planning or rostering systems (such as Access Care Planning, CM2000, Birdie, or similar).
- NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care (minimum).
- Level 5 Leadership qualification (or willingness to work towards it).

Pay: £25,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
