Balmonds Skincare Ltd is a Brighton based natural skincare company specialising in gentle, effective skincare for people with dry, itchy or allergy-prone skin. We make and pack all of our products in our little factory by the sea and are looking for someone awesome to join the operations team.

We are looking for an efficient, dedicated team member with a great eye for detail and communication skills, who is forward thinking and keen to get involved!
Position:
Operations Assistant - primarily focusing in the Production department.
Duties:
To assist the Production Supervisor in all aspects of daily activities
- Assist in managing daily operations and administrative tasks related to skincare production
- Carry out daily production activities, preparation of all products, including manufacture, filling, lidding and coding
- Maintenance of Clean Room standards
- Use of machinery such as pallet trucks, cooking vessels, filling machinery, high shear mixer, coding machine etc
- Maintain and update production/dispatch records and filing systems to ensure accurate and organised documentation
- Support the operations team in implementing and improving production/dispatch procedures, quality control processes, and safety protocols
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the efficient operation of the skincare manufacturing business.
Experience:
Previous experience in a customer support role and a packing/production/kitchen environment is useful but not necessary - full training will be provided
The job involves lots of on-the-job training and skills development.

Pay:
£13.45 an hour during 3 month probation, increase following with full contract
Hours:
40 per week, including paid half an hour lunch break.
