Summary
This Administrator position is a vital role based in our Daybrook Branch and supporting our Health, Safety and Property Manager. This position helps to ensure we are compliant in all aspects of Health and Safety by managing administrative tasks efficiently and ensuring smooth communication within our team. Hours of Work
We can accommodate hours between 16 and 20 per week, ideally over 5 days but will consider over 4 days. Flexible with actual start and finish times.
Responsibilities
- Co-ordinating the monitoring, booking and record keeping of maintenance inspections and remedials
- Managing contractor administration, ensuring all documentation, permits, insurance and compliance records are maintained.
- Assisting with updating expenditure records and budget monitoring
- Updating and maintaining relevant training records
- Ordering of any relevant equipment for branches
- Monitoring of the Health & Safety System, to ensure tasks are being completed in a timely manner.
- Handling correspondence via phone and email with professionalism.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Day to day administrative tasks as directed by the Line Manager
Qualifications
- Proven experience in office administration or related fields.
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office, in particular in Excel.
- Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
- Effective communication skills with professional phone etiquette.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Previous H&S experience would be beneficial but not essential.
