Candor Vets is delighted to present an outstanding opportunity for a Head Veterinary Surgeon to join a well-established and modern practice in Lincoln. This is a pivotal role for an experienced veterinary professional looking to lead a dedicated team and drive clinical excellence within a supportive environment.
The Role
The successful candidate will take on the leadership of a fabulous team, spearheading the continuous improvement of clinical standards and services. This role involves upskilling colleagues to support the practice's aim of becoming a centre of clinical excellence. As a key member of the surgery’s management team, the Head Veterinary Surgeon will require a high level of clinical expertise and a passion for delivering outstanding care. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a leadership position, possessing the drive and passion to deliver against a strategic vision, coaching and inspiring the team to consistently deliver gold standard, evidence-based care.
The required working pattern is 4 days a week with 1:4 weekends. There are no out-of-hours duties, but the Head Veterinary Surgeon will need to be on call for any overnight inpatients.
