We are looking for caring, motivated and experienced Senior Support Workers to join our dedicated team in providing high-quality care to children and young people living in our residential home.
As a Senior Support Worker, you will be a positive role model, helping to create a safe, nurturing and supportive environment where children can thrive. You will support the day-to-day running of the home, mentor colleagues and work closely with the management team to ensure the highest standards of care are maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality, child-centred care and support to children and young people.
- Promote the safety, wellbeing and development of all children within the home.
- Act as a positive role model and build trusting, meaningful relationships with young people.
- Support children to achieve positive outcomes in education, health, independence and daily living skills.
- Lead shifts and provide guidance and support to the staff team.
- Administer medication safely in line with company policies.
- Maintain accurate records, reports and daily logs.
- Contribute to the development and review of care plans and risk assessments.
- Liaise professionally with social workers, families, schools and other external professionals.
- Ensure safeguarding procedures and Children's Homes Regulations are followed at all times.
- Participate in the home's on-call, sleep-in and shift rota where required.
What We're Looking For:
- Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (or equivalent).
- Experience working in a children's residential home.
- Previous experience leading shifts or supporting other staff members.
- A good understanding of safeguarding procedures and children's residential care regulations.
- Excellent communication, organisational and teamwork skills.
- A caring, resilient and positive approach to supporting children with complex needs.
- Full UK driving licence.
