This is a hands-on role for someone with experience in spring coiling and machine setting, who enjoys practical engineering work and wants to develop further within a supportive manufacturing environment.

This is a hands-on role for someone with experience in wire forming and CNC machine setting, who enjoys practical engineering work and wants to develop further within a supportive manufacturing environment
What You'll Be Doing
- Setting and operating CNC spring coiling machines
- Producing springs to customer drawings and specifications
- Adjusting tooling and machine settings to achieve accurate results
- Checking dimensions and maintaining quality standards
- Carrying out first-off inspections and in-process quality checks
- Supporting the production team with general workshop operations
- Working closely with experienced operators and engineers
What We're Looking For
We are specifically looking for someone with previous experience as a Spring Coiler / Spring Coiling Machine Setter.
The amount of experience is not the most important thing to us. Whether you've worked in the field for 1 year or 20 years, what matters is that you already understand spring coiling processes and know how to confidently set and operate coiling machines.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience setting and operating spring coiling machines
- Be able to read engineering drawings and use measuring equipment
- Have good attention to detail and take pride in their work
- Be reliable, motivated and willing to learn
- Be practical and hands-on
- Work well independently and as part of a team
