The Three Chimneys Smokehouse & Grill is based within The Jubilee Hotel in Weymouth. We are a growing hospitality business serving freshly cooked local food, smoked meats, burgers, grills and comfort food, with the aim of delivering excellent-quality meals that arrive hot, fresh and ready to enjoy.
We are looking for a reliable and friendly Delivery Driver to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who is confident on the road, good with customers, and happy to get involved as part of the wider kitchen and restaurant team.
This is not only a driving role. Between deliveries, you will be expected to assist the kitchen and restaurant team with basic support duties, such as helping to pack orders, keeping delivery areas clean and organised, checking orders before they leave, assisting with stock/delivery organisation, washing up, basic prep support, and helping wherever reasonably needed during quieter delivery periods.
You must have your own vehicle, a valid driving licence, and be comfortable using maps or sat nav to follow delivery routes.

Responsibilities
- Deliver food orders to customers in a safe, friendly and timely manner
- Ensure meals are handled carefully so they arrive hot and presentable
- Follow delivery routes and time schedules
- Use maps, sat nav or directions accurately
- Collect payments for delivered meals where required
- Maintain communication with supervisors and the kitchen team
- Provide polite and professional customer service
- Check orders before leaving the premises
- Assist in the kitchen/restaurant between deliveries
- Help with packing orders, cleaning, washing up, basic prep and general support duties
- Keep delivery areas clean, tidy and organised
- Follow all food safety, hygiene and driving safety requirements
- Ensure your own vehicle is roadworthy, insured and suitable for delivery work

Requirements
- Own vehicle essential
- Valid UK driving licence
- Appropriate insurance for delivery work
- Good local knowledge of Weymouth preferred, but not essential
- Ability to use a sat nav or delivery app
- Previous delivery or hospitality experience preferred, but full training can be provided

Pay: £12.85 per hour
