Purpose of the Role

Contribute to achievement of the company’s OTIF (On Time In Full) Targets by working to a high standard of accuracy and adhering to operational processes.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Have an extensive knowledge of the company, its aims, objectives and strategic direction.
- Support the internal sales team in producing quotes when required.
- Manage the purchase order process for non-stock items, including placing orders, supplier liaison and checking supplier confirmations.
- Liaise with suppliers and clients regarding replacements for damaged / missing items.
- Respond to and resolve customer queries, complaints and issues promptly and professionally, escalating matters where appropriate.
- Use gatekeeping skills to deal with inbound telephone enquiries.
- Use a range of software and the ERP system to manage data and produce reports.
- Order and maintain stationery and equipment.
- Create and maintain online filing and other office systems.
- Support the accounts team with invoicing and credit control processes when required.
- Handle incoming and outgoing post.
- Provide outstanding customer service, handling enquiries and orders promptly with a high level of attention to detail.
- Deal with a wide variety of customer communications via email and telephone.
- Manage the sales order process including entry, customer liaison, stock allocation and delivery scheduling.
- Provide administrative support to other departments as required, such as executive support for the directors.

Hours of Work
Monday - Thursday: 8am-5pm, with 1 hour for lunch
Friday: 8am-4pm, with 1 hour for lunch
Pay: £28,000.00-£32,000.00 per year
