Same Day Solutions Limited (SDS) is looking for reliable, motivated and customer-focused Delivery Associates to join our growing team.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced van driver who takes pride in delivering excellent customer service, working efficiently and following the correct delivery processes.
We are particularly interested in applicants with recent van driving experience and a proactive, professional attitude. Experience or an interest in basic fleet coordination/management would also be an advantage, as you may occasionally support with fleet-related tasks.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery van in accordance with all road laws and company procedures.
- Complete deliveries efficiently while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Load and unload goods safely, including handling heavier items where required.
- Follow allocated routes and delivery schedules.
- Adapt to changes and unexpected situations during the working day.
- Communicate professionally with customers regarding deliveries and potential delays.
- Complete all delivery paperwork and processes accurately.
- Support basic fleet coordination and vehicle-related activities when required.
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude when representing SDS.

Key Requirements
Applicants will only be considered if they meet the following requirements:
- Recent van driving experience within the last 12 months
- Full UK driving licence held for at least 1 year
- Maximum 6 points on your licence
- No DD, CD or TT licence codes
- Able to successfully pass a criminal background check
- Able to reliably travel to our depot in NE10
- Physically fit and able to load and unload goods
- Reliable, punctual and committed to completing your shifts

Driving Assessment
As part of our recruitment and ongoing quality process, candidates may be required to complete a driving assessment with one of our Fleet Supervisors.
Driving assessments may also be carried out randomly throughout the year to ensure our high driving and safety standards are maintained.
