Same Day Solutions Ltd is looking for reliable, motivated and customer-focused Delivery Associates to join our growing team.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced van driver who takes pride in delivering safely, working efficiently and providing outstanding customer service.
Potential earnings
Choose a working pattern that suits you:
- Four days per week: potential gross earnings of £26,769.60 per year
- Six days per week: potential gross earnings of £40,154.40 per year
- Average weekly scorecard bonus: £80
- Potential annual scorecard bonus: £4,160
- Potential earnings of up to £47,434.40 per year after progressing to Lead Driver and achieving the full scorecard bonus
All working patterns include at least one weekend day. Earnings are based on 52 weeks worked and are subject to completed routes, availability, performance and eligibility. Bonuses are not guaranteed.
Key responsibilities
- Safely operate a delivery van in accordance with road laws and company procedures
- Complete deliveries efficiently while providing excellent customer service
- Load and unload parcels safely, including heavier items when required
- Follow allocated routes, delivery schedules and customer instructions
- Adapt professionally to changes and unexpected situations
- Communicate clearly with customers regarding deliveries and potential delays
- Support basic fleet coordination and vehicle-related activities when required
- Maintain a professional appearance and attitude while representing SDS

Essential requirements
Applicants will only be considered if they meet the following requirements:
- Recent van-driving experience within the last 12 months
- Full UK driving licence held for at least one year
- No more than six points on your driving licence
- No DD, CD or TT driving offence codes
- Able to pass a criminal background check
- Able to travel reliably to our depot in NE10
- Physically fit and able to load and unload parcels
- Reliable, punctual and committed to completing allocated shifts

Experience or an interest in basic fleet coordination would be an advantage, as you may occasionally assist with fleet-related tasks.

Driving assessment
As part of our recruitment and ongoing quality process, candidates may be required to complete a driving assessment with one of our Fleet Supervisors.
Additional driving assessments may be completed throughout the year to ensure our high driving and safety standards are maintained.
