DegreeSix are looking for passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to support schools across Birmingham!
In this rewarding role, you will work with Primary and/ or Secondary pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), including Autism, ADHD, learning difficulties, and communication needs.
We offer flexible opportunities to fit around your availability and requirements, with both full-time and part-time positions available.
As a SEN Teaching Assistant, you’ll be expected to:
- Support pupils with a range of additional needs including ASD, SEMH, ADHD, and learning difficulties
- Provide 1:1 support or work with small groups and classes
- Help manage challenging behaviour and support emotional regulation
- Build positive relationships with pupils and staff
- Be confident, reliable, and passionate about supporting young people with SEND
