We are seeking an Asset & Governance Manager to lead and continuously improve the Asset Management System (AMS), ensuring compliance with ISO 55001 standards and delivering reliable, auditable, and best-practice asset management.
The role is focused on enhancing asset performance, governance, and organisational resilience through effective asset lifecycle management.
Job Description
We are looking for a subject matter expert in asset management who can drive continuous improvement, maintain robust governance processes, and work collaboratively with stakeholders to align asset management activities with strategic objectives and sustainability goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and maintain the Asset Management System (AMS) to ensure ongoing ISO 55001 compliance.
- Manage asset documentation, lifecycle strategies, risk registers, and governance processes.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely closure of corrective actions.
- Integrate asset management practices into CAFM systems, including platforms such as Tririga, and maintain asset data accuracy.
- Support lifecycle investment planning through condition-based insights to optimise cost, risk, and reliability.
- Act as the site subject matter expert for asset management and critical environment standards.
- Analyse asset performance data and implement continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives.
- Provide training and awareness on ISO 55001 principles and AMS governance, while collaborating with client and stakeholder teams to support strategic and sustainability objectives.
Professional and Personal Competencies/Qualifications
- Previous experience as an Asset Manager within corporate or critical environments.
- Expertise in ISO 55001-compliant asset management systems.
- Strong knowledge of CAFM platforms such as Maximo and Tririga, with a focus on asset data governance.
- Experience in audit preparation, non-conformity management, and continuous improvement activities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex asset management concepts.
- Experience working within high-security financial or data centre environments.
- Strong project leadership, stakeholder management, and analytical skills.
- Technical Facilities Management background with a solid understanding of mechanical and electrical (M&E) systems.
