Nursery Manager - Job share: Maternity Cover 1 year contract
Working week: Wednesday - Friday 8am-6pm
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Manager seeking a new challenge to join our ‘Ofsted Outstanding’ organisation and management team.
We are seeking an individual with excellent leadership skills and a proven track record in Early Years, with the ability to lead and motivate staff to deliver outstanding levels of care and education.
If you can demonstrate passion, in-depth knowledge and an understanding of Early Years and OFSTED, combined with at least three years relevant supervisory experience, excellent organisational skills and hold an appropriate qualification to at least level 3 or above, then this is an ideal opportunity for you.
You will have outstanding customer service skills with a focus on setting your nursery apart from other local settings by providing exceptional services in all aspects of the business.
Essential qualifications/knowledge:
* NVQ Level 3 or 4 Diploma
* Thorough working knowledge of the EYFS
* Ofsted
* Child Protection

* Work under pressure and meet deadlines.
* Assess results and progress of each child.
* Organise, train and motivate a team of staff.
* Plan, prioritise, monitor and evaluate work.
* Form positive relationships with a wide range of people and agencies.
* Work on own initiative and as part of team within Whitehill Childcare Services.
* Adaptable to meet requirements of contingency plans.
* Understanding of Equal Opportunities.
