GROUNDWORKS WORKING SUPERVISOR -CIS – From £24.00 per hour (higher rates available depending on experience)
Blackoak Contracts Ltd are growing and are looking for experienced Groundworks Supervisors to join our team. Important:
This is a nationwide role. Operatives will be required to travel and work on sites across the UK. Overnight stays may be required depending on project location. Accommodation and travel expenses are provided where applicable.

The Role:
- Working Supervisor – overseeing and assisting a small groundworks and civils gang (up to 3 operatives) to ensure works are completed safely and efficiently.
- Managing day-to-day site activities
- Ensuring works are completed safely and to programme - Communication with Project manager
- Liaising with client Site managers and other contractors on site
- Maintaining the highest standards of Health & Safety on site at all times
- Ensuring RAMS, permits and site documentation are followed and adhered to
- Promoting and enforcing safe working practices across all site activities
- Liaising with Project Managers and the Procurement Team regarding materials, plant, tools and equipment required on site
- Completing site paperwork and records
Requirements: Valid CSCS Card
- SSSTS Certificate (in date)
- Full UK Driving Licence (maximum 6 points)
- Excavator and Dumper tickets
- Previous Groundworks Supervisor experience
- Strong commitment to Health & Safety
- Ability to promote and enforce safe working practices on site
- Good understanding of RAMS, permits and site paperwork
- Good communication and organisational skills
- Utilities experience advantageous but not essential
