Mobile Electrical Engineer | £45,000 | Lancashire
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Mobile Electrical Engineer to join a well-established engineering team working across a portfolio of specialist healthcare facilities throughout Lancashire.
This is a varied, field-based role carrying out planned preventative maintenance, reactive repairs, fault finding and electrical installations within live healthcare environments. The successful candidate will be a confident, self-motivated engineer with excellent technical knowledge and a professional approach to customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out planned preventative and reactive electrical maintenance
- Diagnose and repair faults on commercial electrical systems
- Work on electrical installations, distribution boards, generators and large electrical panels
- Complete all required documentation and reports using electronic systems
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in accordance with current regulations
- Maintain excellent communication with clients and colleagues while working across multiple sites
Requirements
- Minimum 10 years' experience within commercial or industrial electrical environments
- City & Guilds 2391 Inspection & Testing
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (BS7671 Amendment 2)
- Extensive experience working with large electrical panels and generators
- Strong fault-finding and maintenance experience
- Competent using IT systems for reporting and documentation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Full UK Driving Licence
Previous experience working within healthcare environments would be advantageous but is not essential.
