About the Role
We are a busy workshop in Nottingham looking for a skilled Fabricator Welder with a strong fabrication‑first mindset. We need someone who can cut, bend, shape, read drawings, and build from scratch – not just weld.
You will be working mainly with mild steel, from 6mm up to 40mm thick, including multi-run welding. Some work on stainless and aluminium may also be required.

What You’ll Be Doing
· Fabricating components from technical drawings – cutting, bending, forming, assembling
· MIG welding (main process), with some TIG as a bonus
· Multi-run welding on mild steel (6–40mm)
· Workshop‑based – no site work
· Maintaining high quality and safety standards

What We’re Looking For
· Minimum 5 years’ experience as a fabricator welder
· Fabrication is your priority – you enjoy working with metal, not just welding it
· Competent in MIG welding (TIG is a bonus)
· Experienced with mild steel (stainless and aluminium also useful)
· Able to read and interpret engineering drawings
· Reliable, punctual, and keen to settle into a permanent role
