Duties
- Assist patients in selecting frames that suit their style, face shape, and lifestyle needs
- Conduct thorough eye measurements, including pupillary distance and frame fitting assessments
- Dispense and fit spectacles accurately, ensuring comfort, proper alignment, and optimal vision correction
- Provide expert advice on lens options, coatings, and maintenance to enhance durability and performance
- Collaborate with laboratory technicians to ensure precise lens fabrication and quality control
- Maintain detailed patient records, including prescriptions, measurements, and dispensing notes
- Educate patients on proper eyewear care and adjustment techniques for long-lasting satisfaction
Skills
- Proven laboratory experience with lens fitting, edging, and mounting techniques
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy related to the eye and visual system
- Excellent communication skills to explain technical information clearly and confidently
