A busy and growing financial adviser practice are looking for someone to join their team as an PA / Administrator to assist with growing business volumes. You will be working as part of a vibrant and busy team assisting the advisers with ensuring that we deliver a 1st class service for our clients. Initially you will start in more of a PA / Admin type role then once you have learnt the basics progressing into more of a paraplanning position over time where you will be writing up more complex cases (such as investment and pension transfers).
You will be primarily responsible for:
- Contacting (phone, email and letter) new and existing clients to schedule meetings
- Document the follow up to those meetings
- Action requests / follow ups from client meetings
- Deal with both internal and external administration functions
- Sending off letters of authority to 3rd party providers then chasing up the resulting info
- Utilising and documenting on our CRM System (Salesforce)
- Writing up basic reports
- Dealing with Ad-Hoc client requests
- Prepare Meeting and Review Packs
- Carry out and Document AML checks
- Working as part of a team to ensure a smooth and seamless administration function for clients.
The Person:
- Must be confident, articulate and able to communicate
- Ideally has experience as an office or business administrator
- Has excellent attention to detail and able to manage time effectively
- Is comfortable managing multiple reponsibilities and prioritising requirements
- Someone who is enthusiastic and can overcome challenges
- Has a positive attitude, can manage themselves, competent and professional
- Is proactive and can contribute towards future development of the Practice
- Keen on learning and developing themselves
Prior experience in financial services would be highly desirable but is not essential, an interest in this area is certainly beneficial though. Full training with an accredited pathway will be provided and progression encouraged, we will pay for 1st sittings of exams and supporting text books as well as provide support and training from qualified people within the practice. There will also be the opportunity to progress into other roles within the practice for the right person (should they wish), full training will be supplied.

We will need someone to be working in office 5 days a week so flexible working is not an option.
