Experienced Barista – Join Our Brand New Café in a Our Boutique Doggy Day Care Cafe
Location: Northcote Road, London
Hours: Full-time, 6 days per week, approximately 8:00am–4:00pm
Start Date: Immediate start available
We're looking for an experienced, enthusiastic Barista to join our brand new café located inside a premium dog daycare and grooming centre on Northcote Road.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of something new from the very beginning. If you love creating exceptional coffee, enjoy working with people, and don't mind spending your day surrounded by friendly dogs, we'd love to hear from you.
The café is takeaway only, You'll play a key role in delivering an excellent experience and helping establish the café as a local favourite.
What you'll be doing
- Preparing high-quality espresso-based coffees and other hot and cold drinks.
- Delivering friendly, professional customer service.
- Opening and closing the café.
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation.
- Managing stock and notifying the owner when supplies need replenishing.
- Following food safety and hygiene procedures.
- Supporting the owner with the day-to-day running of the café.
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience as a Barista (essential).
- Can confidently dial in espresso and produce consistently excellent coffee.
- Works well independently and takes initiative.
- Is reliable, punctual and well organised.
- Has a positive, friendly personality and enjoys interacting with customers.
- Thrives in a busy environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Is comfortable working around dogs and enjoys being part of a dog-friendly environment.
- Is available to start immediately.
Desirable (but not essential)
- Level 2 Food Hygiene/Food Safety Certificate.
- Experience with café opening and closing procedures.
- Basic latte art skills.
- Cash handling and till experience.
